Get Food Assistance in Wasaga Beach

If you need help putting food on the table, the Wasaga Beach Ministerial Food Bank is here for you.

We know that people come to the food bank for many different reasons. A job loss, illness, rising grocery costs, an unexpected bill, or simply a difficult month can make it hard to make ends meet. Whatever has brought you here, you will be treated with kindness and respect.

When You Can Visit

Tuesday: 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Thursday: 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Thursday Evening: 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

What to Expect

When you arrive, one of our Intake volunteers will welcome you and help you through the process. We try to make every visit as straightforward, respectful, and comfortable as possible.

Food available varies depending on donations and supply, but we work hard to provide a useful selection of groceries for individuals and families.

Please let us know if there are important dietary, allergy, cultural, or household needs we should be aware of. While we cannot guarantee that we will always have specific items available, we will do our best to help.

New to the Food Bank?

If this is your first visit, don’t worry. You do not need to know how everything works before you arrive. Come in during one of our food assistance times and our volunteers will guide you through the process. You will need to bring ID  for yourself and each member of your family that you will be feeding proving that you are a resident of Wasaga Beach. This can include a utility bill in your name or a copy of your lease agreement.
