The Wasaga Beach Ministerial Food Bank is launching a campaign to purchase a refrigerated food rescue van — and we’re inviting local businesses, organizations, and community members to help make it happen.

This is not simply a vehicle.

This van will allow us to safely collect and transport fresh, perishable food donations that are currently out of reach due to transportation limitations — including potential large-scale food recovery partnerships with suppliers like Costco. In fact, we can't do Costco pickups without a refrigerated van.

Once we get the new van, it will open up our ability to:

• Increase access to more fresh, healthy food
• Recover more food before it goes to waste
• Meet food safety standards for perishable donations
• Serve more individuals and families across our region

Right now, food is being offered. We simply need the means to go get it safely.

We are currently seeking:

• TITLE SPONSORSHIP $10,000 – $15,000
• MAJOR SPONSORS $5,000 – $9,999
• COMMUNITY SPONSORS $500 – $4,999
• INDIVIDUAL SPONSORS Whatever you can give!

"TITLE," "MAJOR" and "COMMUNITY" sponsors will receive visible recognition on the van, across campaign materials, media outreach, and social media.

This vehicle will be seen throughout Wasaga Beach and surrounding communities — creating a meaningful opportunity for businesses to visibly support local food security efforts.
